André commissioned various artists to design attractions for this event The participating artists included Jean-Michel Basquiat, Keith Haring, Roy Lichtenstein, Salvador Dalí, David Hockney, Kenny Scharf, Roland Toper, Jean Tiguely, and Sonja Delaunay.
